TAILGATING CENTRAL
INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ALL MAJOR U.S. RACES IN JANUARY AND
FEBRUARY, 2009 (more events will be added in time)


CHILI BOWL MIDGET NATIONALS - Expo Center, Tulsa, OK
January 13-17, 2009
Camping:  
No tent camping in area;
If wanting to park an RV, you'll have to park in the RV Park behind the Expo Center.  Go
HERE for details;
There is wi-fi and a laundry room available in the RV Park;
Parking:  
Parking is free on the Expo Center property with around 9,000 spaces available, but you
can also pay $100 for a reserved spot closer to the entrance;
Food and Beverage Policies:  
You cannot bring in any food or beverage into the Expo Center facility; There are
numerous food and beverages stations throughout the Expo Center as well as the Expo
Cafe, located at the east end of the Expo Center.  
Where can I tailgate?  
There are no official designated tailgating areas around the Expo Center.

Lot 7
Corner of Bill France Blvd. and Clyde Morris Blvd. FREE PARKING AND SHUTTLE before
and after the race. (Frontstretch Ticket Holders)
Lot 10
Southeast corner of Williamson Blvd. and Bellevue Extension, FREE PARKING AND
SHUTTLE before and after the race. (Superstretch Ticket Holders)
West Lot
Located outside Turns 1 and 2, open for reserved Specialty Vehicle Parking only. Call
the Ticket Office 1-800-PIT-SHOP for details.
Park-and-Ride
Park-and-Ride provides access to and from the Speedway from off-site parking areas
free of charge. Park and Ride services will be provided for the following locations:
Parking areas along Williamson Blvd. Lot 10 and Lot 7 at Bill France and Clyde Morris
Blvds.
VOTRAN Shuttle Services
VOTRAN bus services* offers express bus services for guests visiting the area for
Speedweeks. VOTRAN buses will transport race fans attending the event from the Ocean
Center Parking Garage located on the north side of the Ocean Center at 701 Earl Street
(at the corner of Earl Street and Atlantic Avenue) in Daytona Beach to a special de-
boarding area near Daytona International Speedway. (*parking and bus fees apply) For
more information on event bus services, call VOTRAN at (386) 761-7700.
Fans may enter ISC facilities with:
- One soft side bag / cooler, no larger than 6 X 6 X 12 inches.
- Examples include: a soft side insulated cooler, a scanner bag, a fanny pack, a purse, a
diaper bag, or a binocular bag, etc.
- This one bag may be carried in any manner, i.e. by handle, with shoulder straps, on a
belt, etc.
- The soft side insulated cooler may contain ice.
- One clear plastic bag, no larger than 18 X 18 X 4 inches, to accommodate samples
received and purchases made after fans have parked their cars. This one clear bag may
be carried in any manner, i.e. by handle, with shoulder straps, etc. Clear plastic bags
may not contain ice.
Note: Fans are allowed to bring in one each of the bags described above.
- Binoculars, scanners, headsets, cameras, not in a bag, worn separately over the neck
or on the belt and seat cushions carried separately are also allowed.
- Seat cushion bags with compartments will be reviewed on an individual basis.
- All items brought through a grandstand gate will be inspected.
The following may not enter the admission gates:
- Firearms, Fireworks and items restricted by Local, State or Federal laws
- Hard sided coolers, thermos and insulated cups of any size.
- Items restricted by track policy:
- No strollers, umbrellas, etc.
- Any bags, backpacks, or containers larger than the allowed size.

NHRA - Auto Club Raceway, Pomona, CA
February 5-8, 2009
Camping:
Vonelli Park - 909-599-8355 - RVs only
KOA Kampground - 909-593-8915 (across from track) -  both tent and RV camping;
Parking:  
Click HERE for a track map; General admission parking is $15.00, and Pit/Preferred is
$20.00-25.00;
Food and Beverage Policies:  
Can bring food and drinks into the track in plastic containers.  No glass or aluminum or
alcohol allowed;
Where can I tailgate?  
There is a specific section designated for tailgating, with a parking charge of around
$30.00 (gated, close to entrance).


NASCAR - Auto Club Speedway, Fontana, CA
February 20-22, 2009

NHRA - Firebird International Raceway, Chandler, AZ
February 20-22, 2009
Camping:  There is no staking permitted on the property.  Please bring your own tent
weights or make arrangements prior to event to rent some from Firebird;
Parking:  Parking is different for every event, signs will be posted on Wild Horse Pass
and Maricopa Road to direct you to the proper gate for your credential.  Once you have
entered the facility, security will direct you to approved parking areas.  Parking in
unapproved areas will result in vehicle being towed at owner’s expense;
Food and Beverage Policies:  
No alcoholic beverages can be brought onto the property.  Ice chest must be “six-pack
size” or smaller and may not contain glass, alcohol, or other prohibited items;
Where can I tailgate?  
There is no official tailgating section designated.
